What is EchoTune?: EchoTune is a zero-power acoustic Case Speaker for iPhone. It uses a resonance chamber and Fabry–Pérot–inspired tubes to bring speech bands (~200–8000 Hz) forward—no battery, no Bluetooth, no app.
How does it work?: By shaping the way sound leaves the phone (radiation pattern + time response), not by processing it. The internal geometry adds forward directionality and a very short, “Natural Echo” that helps outline consonants and word boundaries.
What is “Natural Echo”?: A micro-echo (a few milliseconds) produced by the structure. It is not a “reverb effect”; it’s a barely audible cue that can make syllables pop without adding electronics or latency.
Does EchoTune just make it louder?: Not exactly. You may perceive more loudness in the voice range, but the main benefit is clarity in front of you—especially for calls, meetings, podcasts, and dialog-heavy video.
Why not use software EQ instead?: EQ can change spectrum, but can’t easily change directionality or early time cues. EchoTune changes the physics of how sound projects into space—structure, not software.
Does it help phone and video calls?: Yes—speakerphone, FaceTime/Zoom, podcasts, audiobooks, captions read-aloud, etc. It’s not a hearing aid.
Is EchoTune a medical device?: EchoTune is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. It’s an acoustic accessory.
Does it need power, pairing, or calibration?: No, no, and no. It works instantly.
Is there any DSP or latency?: No DSP, zero latency. It’s entirely passive acoustics.
Why do you mention Fabry–Pérot?: Because the tube lengths and reflections borrow from that interference principle: constructive paths emphasize useful bands for speech.
Sustainability: No battery, no charging, no consumables. Long service life by design.
